Major contributions to launching the careers of outstanding researchers

I have been teaching 3 courses on the use of polymers in biomedicine for master and Ph.D. students, and also have been a supervisor or supervisor-specialist of 22 Ph.D. students (16 already had successfully defended) and of Master and Bachelor degree students. Number of my Ph.D. students successfully found after defense of their theses postdocs at esteemed universities [Gent University (Belgium), University of California at Berkeley (U.S.A.), Stanford University (U.S.A.), National Institute for Materials Science – NIMS (Japan), Chang Gung University Of Science and Technology (Taiwan)]. Since my Master studies, I successfully organize a series of high school competitions and popularization courses in chemistry (e.g., Chemical Olympiad, ChemQuest). My Ph.D. student Lenka Loukotová was awarded the Sanofi Award for the best Ph.D. thesis in the field of pharmacy and biomedicine (2019).
