Description | Redox Flow battery (RFB) systems are emerging as an important class of energy storage devices. Electrode materials undergoing redox reactions upon applied potential can store much more energy per unity of mass than chemically inert carbon-based materials. Among these electrode materials, the semiconducting polymers are considered the most promising. The development of stable polymer suspensions is one of the perspective directions in this field. The aim of this project is to prepare and electrochemically characterize the new stable polymer suspensions for the RFBs comprising semiconducting polymers. |
