Since 2024, the Institute Colloquium has been held as a regular monthly lecture series of scientists and Ph.D. students of the Institute. The Colloquia will feature presentations on current scientific topics and results of individual departments, partial and overall project results, new methodologies and procedures, new instruments and their applications, as well as presentations by invited guests.
The colloquium will be held once a month on Thursday afternoons. The programme of a given Colloquium will normally include two or three lectures. The recommended lecture length is 30 minutes. However, by prior arrangement, the length of the lecture may be adjusted to suit the needs of the speaker. The recommended language of the lecture is English.
The programme of lectures will be arranged individually with the Education and Information Unit representatives. However, interested persons can also register themselves by e-mail or in person with Petr Šálek or Olga Kočková.
Colloquium lectures can be attended by anyone outside the Institute and no prior reservation is required.
To prepare your presentations, you can (we recommend) use the templates available for download on intraweb.
