On the 18th of October, 2023 the participants of the UNESCO/IUPAC Course visited the exibition in the National Technical Museum devoted to the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry. Dr. Jiří Michálek gave a talk about history of soft contact lenses, different ways of their production, and mainly about Prof. Otto Wichterle - the famous inventor and the first director of the Institute.
