The organizers of PMM 2009 received invitation from Wiley InterScience Editorial office to publish selected contributions of the meeting in a volume of MACROMOLECULAR SYMPOSIA.
Macromolecular symposia remain an evergreen series found in almost every polymer science library and they serve often as reference books to young scientists.
The publishing period can be very short and this makes MS very attractive to all authors (who wish to disseminate their idea fast - within three months after receiving the final manuscript data).
Macromolecular Symposia is covered in 'ISI Proceedings', a new developed web file by Thomson ISI as a body of literature distinct from non-proceedings material. 'ISI Proceedings' is part of "Web of Science" and is rapidly becoming the world's largest multidisciplinary citation index of the Conference Proceedings literature. From now on, all proceedings publications are covered exclusively there.
The papers will be collected during the conference days and within the next six weeks after the meeting (i.e. until the August 20) although the most preferred situation is that you have your manuscript ready at the conference time.
Accepted articles will be typeset and published as a hardcover edition together with online publication at Wiley InterScience, thereby guaranteeing an immediate international dissemination. Publication of a volume usually can be completed within three months after receiving the final manuscript data.
Manuscript must be prepared using the MS template on MS homepage http://www.ms-journal.de. All papers should be checked carefully, as the authors will NOT receive any proofs.
Maximum length of manuscript of the invited lectures is 12 pages.
Maximum length of papers presented as poster is 8 pages.
Accepted articles will be typeset and published as a hardcover edition together with online publication at Wiley InterScience, thereby guaranteeing an immediate international dissemination. Publication of a volume usually can be completed within three months after receiving the final manuscript data.
